The position will work on an NIH-funded randomized clinical trial that aims to motivate dental patients to quit smoking using mobile health technology. The position will involve monitoring trial adherence, interpreting and analyzing data for presenting reports to a multi-disciplinary team, training research assistants, developing research methods and procedures, serving as primary clinic liaison, participant recruitment, retention and longitudinal tracking, and managing data. Responsibilities also include performing administrative tasks, developing protocols and methods to carry out research aims, literature reviews, and IRB submissions. Skills
Preferred Psychology, Public Health, or related Social Science Field. Fluent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Some early evening hours and Saturdays may be necessary.
This position also requires a Bachelor's Degree and 3 years' experience in human subject's research, strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, the capacity to work with a team and engage in a professional manner with participants.
