40Summary:
The speech language pathologist will deliver competent and skilled care to patients and families according to their identified needs. The speech language pathologist will deliver care with a team-orientation, an emphasis on good customer relations, sound clinical judgment and appropriate decision-making abilities that take into consideration evidenced based practice. The speech language pathologist assesses and implements direct service for inpatients on the Transitional and Rehabilitation Care Unit for the following: feeding, swallowing, and hearing impairments; cognitive impairments, congenital disorders; developmental disorders/delay; neurological impairments; voice disorders; language disorders/delay; articulation deficits; respiratory impairments; and fluency disorders.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech/Language Pathology
Pediatric experience preferred
CPR - BLS within 30 days of employment required
State license or eligible for state licensure
Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech/Language Pathology
