About This Role
As a Senior Manager of Business Planning, you will play a pivotal role in the financial strategy and planning within the MS Franchise. Embedded within the finance team, you'll support the Director of Finance in delivering strategic insights and financial planning for U.S. MS Marketing Leads and MS Sales Leaders. Your expertise will be essential in managing the MS Franchise P&L, conducting comprehensive financial analyses, and providing impactful decision support to drive business success. You'll collaborate closely with the Director, US MS Finance to ensure the accuracy of financial data, deliver meaningful analytics, and support broader financial planning responsibilities. This role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to the financial health and strategic direction of the business, positioning you as a key influencer in the overall business structure.
What You'll Do
Provide end-to-end support to the Finance Director, MS Franchise, including budget and forecast planning, allocation, variance analysis, and performance tracking.
Collaborate with U.S. MS Marketing Leads and Directors to manage a ~$50M budget, offering planning support and variance analysis.
Assist MS Sales leaders with sales operating expenses budget, headcount review for deep dive forecasts, and provide ad hoc support for regional financial performance.
Manage Incentive Compensation budget and forecast, approve requisitions, drive reconciliation activities, and post journal entries.
Identify business trends, including risks and opportunities, and prepare materials for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end business reviews.
Support ad hoc requests across the MS Franchise to effectively manage the US P&L requirements.

Required Skills:
7+ years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry and/or finance/strategic consulting discipline
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Strong financial analysis and strategic planning skills
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and data analytics
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively across departments
Preferred Skills:
Experience in managing large-scale budgets
Familiarity with P&L management and variance analysis
Proficiency in advanced financial software and tools

Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
