The UX Researcher / Designer will collaborate closely with Business and IT teams to validate and advance innovative, strategic digital solutions that drive tangible commercial impact.  You will drive tangible commercial impact by bridging the gap between innovation and market readiness through multi-method research and hands-on design, delivering user-centric, high-impact solutions.  As the UX team member you will also play a pivotal role in shaping the studio's success.

The Senior UX Designer employs advanced research methods to conduct ethnographic studies, evaluative research, and generate innovative ideas that create a vision. You will guide the team in applying research techniques, defining user journeys, and user stories, and clarifying abstract user.  Collaborating with the Product Owners and development teams, you will align stakeholders with the product vision and user-centered goals, continuously improving product concepts and coach others.

Compensation Data

This position offers a base salary typically between $115,000 and $181,000. The position may be eligible for a role specific variable or performance based bonus and or other compensation elements. For an overview of our benefits please click here.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • UX Research: Through state-of-the-art methodologies, the UX Researcher/Designer performs user research and develops and defines concepts for desired and innovative user experiences, taking into account legal and regulatory demands and boundaries. Defines user stories and user journeys with rapid iteration.
  • Articulates complex user needs clearly, and manages the business partner product vision by researching and user-testing experiences.
  • UX Design: Consults with and influences key stakeholders outside and within IT, up to senior and executive management levels, to take user-centric design approaches into account when designing process and/or IT solutions. Designs and delivers wireframes and mock- ups with rapid iterations. Drives decisions and proactively contributes to proposals for business processes and IT system configurations in the assigned domain.
  • Applying agile methodologies, the UX researcher/ Designer closely co-operates with the technical team to develop system customizations and configurations to ensure that the system is usable, accessible and responsive.
  • In addition, the UX Designer is responsible for
  • creating prototypes that showcase the user flow and user interactions, executes usability tests, and drives
  • continuous improvement towards improved user
  • Experiences. The UX Designer independently prepares and facilitates workshops in own initiative.
  • Independently drives UX activities.
  • Mentor  junior designers; track record of shipped digital applications / products across platforms

Requirements

  • Master's degree in design, UX, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.  Minimum of 6 years of hands-on UX design experience, with a strong focus on user research.
  • Self-driven mindset, thriving in high-impact, startup-like environments
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas across diverse teams.
  • Strong background in the pharmaceutical industry or similar and Agile environments.
  • Skilled in translating user insights into intuitive, high-impact design solutions across global, cross-functional teams.
  • Experienced UX professional adept at leading UX for emerging products  with focus on user-centered design and rapid iteration.
  • Core Strengths:
    • Strong stakeholder management and cross-cultural collaboration
    • Advanced in Figma, prototyping
    • Expert in user research, usability testing, and data-driven design
    • Proven ability to simplify complex workflows into elegant UI
    • Effective communicator across technical and non-technical teams

Desired Skills, Experience and Abilities

Strong pharmaceutical  /digital  healthcare technology domain knowledge with experience working in a multi-national organziation is preferred

Dynamic and adaptable individual who demonstrates a strong ability to learn and grow.

The ideal candidate will not only excel in research & design but show potential to take on additional key roles within the product team  including Agile Coach, Ideation Scout, Data Scientist, or Frontend Developer

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
  • Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
