UX/UI Designer (Mobile App experience)
Location: Back Bay, Boston
Duration: 3 months (& will likely extend)
Hybrid: 2-3 days per week on site
Hours per week: 40
Rate Range: $60-$70 per hour
Timeline for hire: 1-2 virtual interviews.
Position Overview
Our client, a well known tech player in Boston, is looking to bring on two UX/UI Designers to support a few upcoming initiatives that are requiring more hands on deck. This role is 40 hours per week, for 3 months to start. This will also be on site 2-3 days per week in their brand new Back Bay office location!
The UX/UI Designers will be joining their UX team that is focused on the mobile app. You'll be working alongside the Lead Designer and will be tasked with developing early prototypes that will be used for market testing, early concepts, schematics and more. The work, since it's the early stages of the project, will be much more production oriented. Lots of work, so speed (accompanied by a good eye) will be more important than strategy.
While the hiring manager very much is looking for the blend of UX and UI, it will be very important to see someone's level of design sophistication as there will be a strong visual design element to this position.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of experience - they are open to solid juniors and mid-level folks
- A portfolio that showcases your work across both UX and UI
- Experience working on MOBILE APPS
- Experience working within Figma is a must
- Detail oriented, but also quick with getting things done
