Join a team that values excellence and innovation, at a company known for its iconic golf brands. At Acushnet Company, your background and experience contribute to creating the best products for dedicated golfers worldwide. Here, your performance has purpose.

What You Will Be Doing

Join our team as a Machine Millwright Apprentice and develop the skills needed to thrive in a high-performance golf ball manufacturing environment. Over a structured 36-month period, you’ll work both independently and alongside experienced trainers to master all facets of the Machine Millwright role. You’ll gain hands-on experience in entry-level troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of complex mechanical systems—including pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical components.

As an apprentice, you’ll assist in modifying equipment to support new production techniques and improve reliability, while participating in preventive and predictive maintenance practices. You’ll also learn to interpret schematics and technical drawings, perform basic welding, plumbing, and machining, and maintain accurate records in our computerized maintenance system.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma required; vocational or technical training preferred

  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with formal secondary technical education (mechanical focus preferred)

  • Commitment to completing internal TPC curriculum or an approved associate degree/certificate program

  • One of the following education/experience combinations:

    • 30% completion of TPC curriculum and 2+ years of industrial equipment maintenance experience

    • 30% completion of approved technical associate degree/certificate and 2+ years of experience

    • Full associate degree in a technical field with demonstrated mechanical skills

  • Working knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, and power transmission

  • Must provide own trade tools and be willing to train at multiple locations

  • Strong work ethic with consistent attendance and adherence to operational hours

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills; respectful of policies, safety, and quality standards

  • Must pass all required Health Services testing for the position

Our Commitment to You

At Acushnet Company, we are committed to helping our associates thrive both personally and professionally. From the start, you and your family, including domestic partners, will benefit from a comprehensive suite of health and well-being programs. Enjoy the advantages of paid time off, an onsite fitness center, acupuncture, physical therapy, wellness coaches, and more.

Our financial benefits are designed to secure your future, offering a 401k with company match, health savings accounts, and flexible spending accounts.

Additionally, you'll enjoy perks like pet insurance, legal planning, education assistance, and exclusive access to our Associate Store. At Acushnet Company, your performance has purpose, and we're here to support you every step of the way.

Pay Range: $20.91-$26.13
