Assistant Professor of Teaching
The Mathematics, Analytics, Science, and Technology (MAST) Division of Babson College invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track assistant professor of teaching appointment to begin in the fall semester of 2025. The successful candidate will teach six course-sections per academic year on topics that may include data visualization, descriptive and inferential statistics, simulation, optimization, or predictive modeling based on the candidate's expertise, interests, and developmental goals.

- Is passionate about teaching data analytics and has a proven track record in both teaching excellence and deploying innovative pedagogical strategies;
- Is eager to engage with a diverse set of learners, including students from all parts of the world and at all academic levels, e.g. undergraduate, MS, MBA;
- Has demonstrated competency in traditional academic research, scholarship of teaching and learning, or engagement in practice;
- Is committed to active participation in service activities, including curricular development, ad hoc departmental service, or representing MAST on institutional committees;
- Is a team player, willing to lead and collaborate with faculty from multiple disciplines to design and teach courses in an integrated, cross-disciplinary context.
About MAST
The mathematics and analytics group within MAST is comprised of 13 full-time faculty members, 11 on the tenure track and 2 on the teaching track. Our group delivers two undergraduate core offerings, a suite of quantitative undergraduate electives, core content in MBA, MS in Business Analytics, and MS in Entrepreneurial Leadership programs, as well as graduate electives in the STEM-certified Business Analytics and Machine Learning MBA concentration. MAST faculty have a range of scholarly and professional interests, from optimization in healthcare and supply chain management to statistical consulting on large scale clinical trials.
