What You'll Do
The People & Organization Practice Area is one of BCG's functional practice areas. Our work focuses on three critical areas: (1) Org Design & Operating Model, (2) Talent & Skills and (3) Culture, Transformation & Change Management.
We are seeking a strong candidate with experience and passion to fill an Intern role in the People & Organization practice (POP). Under the general direction of the Global Director of the practice, the Intern will support the POP Management and Operations Team (M&O) for ~8 weeks with one or more project-based responsibilities, focused on reporting, internal and external marketing, communications, and others. The individual will have the opportunity to gain experience across different POP Topics, to collaborate with regional and global teams, and to better understand what the core business of consulting entails.
The role requires a high degree of motivation and flexibility, the ability to work in a virtual management environment, and the ability to handle fragmentation.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
Leading one or more project-based initiatives focused on the practice's performance, key topics, and 2025 priorities. Illustrative areas of activity include:
- Partner with global topic teams to execute special projects and contribute to the execution of practice area priorities
- Provide support for ad hoc topic and region performance data
- Provide support for the practice's strategic planning
- Create and interpret monthly management presentations
- Contribute to global Topic, HR, marketing and affiliation activities
- Support automation of tasks, identify and help execute effective new practices to drive efficiency in the business
What You'll Bring
Individual working on undergraduate degree, preference for someone working on a BS/BA in Business
Experience and / or interest in Human Resources / Organizational topics (e.g., Organizational Structure, Change Management, Talent Management, Learning & Development)
Strong academic performance and prior work experience
Strong analytical skills, experience with MS Excel and PowerPoint
Organized, detail oriented and analytical, good interpersonal and communication skills. High level of initiative and resourcefulness.
Ability to work in fast paced environment
Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university degree program
Able to work full-time (40 hours/week) throughout the duration of the internship
Authorized to work in the United States
Must be physically located in the U.S. during internship
Who You'll Work With
- Members of BCG's core support functions and businesses (e.g., PA Management, Marketing, Finance)
- Members of the Knowledge Team within the POP Practice Area. The Knowledge Team are experts on the topics within the POP Practice Area (Org Design & Operating Model, Talent & Skills and Culture, Transformation & Change Management). They are responsible for the development of topic-related IP and closely support case teams on client work.

Compensation range for role: $21-$24 per hour
