




The Summer IT Intern will rotate through various departments to learn how Wedgewood’s Products and Technology team supports our business operations. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
When will you work?
- Based out of our Portland, ME office or Swedesboro, NJ location - 6- 8 weeks duration
What you’ll do:
- Roate through various Technology Departments to learn Wedgewood’s Technology Operations.
- Shadow team members in roles like infrastructure, software development, QA, Data, etc.
- Opportunity to dive deeper in one department to gain hands on experience on day-to-day work.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions and informal learning opportunities
- Explore different career paths within the IT and computer science field.
Who you are:
- Eager to learn and explore in a fast-paced environment
- Responsible, reliable and excited to gain hands on experience
- Possess strong communication and teamwork skills
- Good at problem-solving and attention to detail
What you’ve done:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and pursing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar
- Basic understanding of computer systems, networks and software applications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
