This individual will possess a unique blend of technical expertise and interpersonal acumen, enabling them to effectively manage BIM implementation across multiple platforms and collaborate with cross-functional across a portfolio that spans 7 million square feet with $75 million in capital improvements per year. This role will spearhead a transformative shift in our design and construction processes, requiring close collaboration with multiple cross-functional teams to develop and deploy new standards and workflows.
This role will support our Electronic Systems division which incorporates our New England (NH and MA sites), East (NY, mid-Atlantic, MD/VA, AL, FL) and West (TX, IN, IA, HI, CA) regions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

This role will support our Electronic Systems division which incorporates our New England (NH and MA sites), East (NY, mid-Atlantic, MD/VA, AL, FL) and West (TX, IN, IA, HI, CA) regions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee staff of 1-2 drafters in charge of scanning and modeling support
- Provide REVIT support and management of new BIM models, including development, scanning, and modeling
- Establish and maintain workplace CAD, BIM, and REVIT standards for the organization, considering all applicable Strategic Business Units and Strategic Support Units
- Develop and manage processes for checking out master drawings and models to outside firms and integrating their work back into base drawings
- Enhance and create Facilities drawing systems to incorporate 21st-century design and information technology
- Prepare and maintain master building drawings, including consolidation of existing project drawings and field verification of missing components
- Conduct BIM laser scan verification and develop REVIT models based on existing AutoCAD plans
- Provide quality control of drawings and BIM information coming from outside sources
- Assist in-house engineers and designers with creating architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical project models/drawings in REVIT/AutoCAD as necessary
- Coordinate BIM system development opportunities and stay up-to-date with emerging technology trends, particularly in BIM, and CAD technologies
- Present to leadership on BIM strategies and other related pursuits
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department and company, interacting appropriately to maintain a positive and productive work environment
- Report to Manager on current progress and perform other duties as necessary
- Associates or higher degree in a technical trade and 6 or more years of related experience.
- Each higher-level related degree, i.e., Bachelor's, Master's or PhD, may substitute for two years of related experience.
- 6+ years of REVIT experience, including creating custom REVIT families. Competence with Navisworks and AutoCAD
- Experience developing and maintaining drawing standards
- Experience working with version control for drawings, software, systems, etc.
- Experience communicating with peers, project teams and senior leadership as a leader/expert in your field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft 365 platform, Outlook, Word, Excel
- Working knowledge of building infrastructure.
- Demonstrated success developing junior designers through effective leadership and the setting of realistic but challenging goals
- Demonstrated professional development
- Proficiency with construction design software solutions such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam Revu, CHVAC/Trane Trace, etc.
- Proficiency with model integration, including incorporating as-built models and third-party data into a central model.
