The Crown Is Yours
As an Analyst II, Risk, you will drive high-impact analyses to enhance our fraud prevention strategies, reduce financial losses due to chargebacks, and improve risk-related workflows across all Draftkings’ products. You’ll be responsible for using data to identify emerging threats, optimize decision thresholds, and shape risk mitigation strategies. Your insights will directly influence operational and strategic decisions, helping us detect, manage, and reduce risk more effectively across the organization.
What you’ll do as an Analyst II, Risk Analytics
Support high-impact analytical workstreams focused on evaluating fraud prevention workflows, analyzing chargeback trends, and enhancing risk mitigation strategies.
Monitor and respond to emerging threats by analyzing real-time alerts, identifying behavioral patterns, and developing data-driven solutions to reduce risk exposure.
Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights and recommendations that align stakeholders and drive effective risk management.
Build and maintain reporting tools and dashboards that surface key risk metrics, inform strategic decision-making, and support continuous process improvements.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Risk Operations and Data Science to analyze customer behavior, surface risks, and guide strategic initiatives.
What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in business analytics or data science.
Proven ability to translate complex analytical findings into actionable recommendations for partners through clear storytelling and impactful data visualizations.
Experience in SQL and/or Snowflake and strong proficiency in Tableau (or similar data visualization tool). Experience with R, Python, or other statistical programming languages is a plus.
Professional experience with hypothesis testing, statistical methods, and knowledge of model building.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is 76,800.00 USD - 96,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
