The Electronic Case Management Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the electronic case management system including updating case dockets and all other litigation case management folders. The position will report to the Sr. Manager -Litigation Paralegals and Resources. They will work close with the Litigation Resources Team, Litigation Attorneys and Paralegals.
What You Will Do:
Tasks include retrieving case documents from Court electronic case filing systems (i.e. PACER, Lexis, etc.)
Uploading of electronic documents into the appropriate file format.
Opening of new matters in iManage and setting up the tracking of the docket(s) in LexisNexis
Conscientious Timekeeping Ability
Reliable observance of ethical and confidentiality obligations
Who You Are:
2-5 years of relevant experience in a large law firm litigation environment. Background in overall case management with a strong knowledge in identifying the various litigation documents i.e. pleadings, discovery documents, etc.
Excellent organizational skills,
Attention to detail,
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks/responsibilities simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and with other team members.
Ability to communicate effectively with attorneys and team members
Knowledge of various document conversion software a plus (training will be provided on software and department protocols.)
