What You'll Do
The Global Email Marketing Manager is a strategic and data-driven marketer responsible for driving awareness, engagement, and conversion through email marketing initiatives. This role plays a critical part in shaping the organization's email marketing strategy, supporting global programs, and ensuring that campaigns resonate with diverse audiences and target segments. The Email Marketing Manager will have the opportunity to manage and develop resources who may be dispersed globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Email Program Management & Oversight: Monitor cross-portfolio calendar of sends, and campaigns, track progress, and alleviate roadblocks. Oversee production processes, step change improvements to program to create leaner processes and automations. Documentation of best practices and team working norms.
- Innovation and Adoption: Stay ahead of emerging email marketing trends, including AI-driven automation, dynamic personalization, and real-time segmentation to optimize engagement and conversions. Support adoption of latest tech and capabilities. Test new tools, technologies, and strategies to drive effective email strategies.
- Shape Email Content Strategy: Ability to understand content themes and craft engaging email copy and campaigns. Able to balance creativity with analytical thinking to ensure the content aligns to key messages and helps to influence the target audience.
- Performance Analysis & Insight: Monitor and analyze campaign performance using metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to understand impact, trends in content engagement, and/or audience behavior. Use insights to refine strategies and improve future campaigns.
- Cross-functional Teaming: Work closely with the broader Digital Channels team members, as well as extending Marketing Teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to marketing efforts and campaigns.
- Project and Team Management: Lead cross-functional alignment meetings to ensure seamless coordination across digital, content, and campaign teams while managing expectations effectively. Ensure that project plans are documented and communicated to facilitate timely completion and alignment of expectations.
- People Development: Actively coach and mentor team members, ensuring structured development plans, ongoing feedback and growth, while fostering a high-performance culture.
What You'll Bring
- Strong knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and marketing automation technology with a passion for driving impactful engagement.
- You understand email marketing strategies and have experience with conceptualizing and executing email marketing campaigns aligned to business objectives such as conversion or nurturing goals.
- Proficient in analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Adobe Analytics) and Excel. Strong data analysis skills to draw insight from data sets and trends, with an ability to efficiently deliver accurate metrics and insights in compelling formats and narratives.
- You can identify and frame complex email marketing challenges, leveraging structured problem-solving techniques and data analytics to drive insights and improve campaign effectiveness.
- You are skilled in email content strategy and have experience writing copy for digital-first formats. Able to adapt messaging to different audiences and objectives.
- You have strong leadership and stakeholder management skills coupled with excellent verbal and written communication, enabling you to effectively interact with and influence all levels of the organization, including both senior stakeholders and direct reports in a global, and at times, high pressure, complex, and virtual environment.
- You have exceptional attention to detail and excellent project management and organization skills, with a high degree of flexibility, reliability, and an ability to work under
pressure that aids in effectively handling multiple priorities. - You can perform successfully and in a positive and friendly manner in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment. You are open to new ideas and diverse perspectives.
