Full Job Description

With roots dating back to 1918, Boston University School of Social Work has more than 100 years of social work education history, a dynamic faculty leading innovative search on pressing social justice issues, and graduate students engaged in programs across five campuses and online. Our mission is to develop dynamic and diverse social work practitioners, leaders, and scholars through rigorous teaching, innovative research, and transformative community engagement. Responsibilities The Graduate Admissions and Financial Aid Advisor works with the Enrollment Services team in support of recruitment, admissions, and financial aid efforts. This is a hybrid position that will rotate between Admissions and Financial Aid in the School of Social Work. General duties will involve recruitment of prospective students for the School's degree programs through a variety of strategic recruitment efforts as well as assisting the Financial Aid team with student financial aid matters. 

Skills

A cover letter is required for consideration.

  • Bachelor's required, 2+ years of experience or equivalent.
  • Admissions and financial aid experience preferred but not required.
  • Some evening, overnight, travel and weekend work, driver's license preferred.
