We are looking for a Program Manager (PM) in Microsoft Advertising focused on the Gaming business. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business planning to grow market share and land Microsoft Advertising (MSA) as an industry PM focsed on the Gaming business. This role involves strategic planning, collaboration, and staying ahead in the dynamic digital advertising landscape. By focusing on delivering customer value, scalability, and bringing Microsoft’s unique set of assets to bear, you will contribute to Microsoft's success in the ever-evolving industry.

Program /Project Management:
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables for their assigned workstream, consolidating milestones and dependencies across projects.
- Identify and manage interdependence across workstreams to avoid bottlenecks and ensure timely delivery.
- Lead governance rhythms, enforcement, and execution excellence including regular updates to the Program Manager and stakeholders, maintaining clarity on status and risks.
End-to-End Planning:
- Develops strategic plans to drive and transform the business across supply, demand, pricing and platforms and influences prioritization of initiatives within these areas.
- Leads workstreams across supply and demand strategy, opportunity sizing, demand profiling, and business requirements documentation.
- Works with cross-functional teams to ensure business and demand plans are comprehensive and rationalized across all planning dimensions from channels to touchpoints.
Problem Solving and Insights
- Structures ambiguous situations into a defined plan, including identification of root causes, testing of hypothesis, proposal, and implementation of proposal for solutioning.
- Evaluates current state business operations to identify issues limiting growth and develops solutions to remove barriers for scale.
- Leverages insights across voice of customer, market research, and stakeholder input to develop recommendations and provide thought leadership around potential growth opportunities.
Communication and Stakeholder Management:
- Communicates and advocates plans to business leaders and conveys viewpoints through written documents (e.g., memos, reports) and influence models (e.g., meetings, presentations).
- Builds end-to-end storylines, leveraging data to demonstrate measurable outcomes of work.
- Delivers recommendations and implications to stakeholders to facilitate discussions and decision making.
- Partners across Product, Engineering, Operations, and Sales to ensure alignment.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, strategy, business planning, consulting,marketing, finance, product management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience leading cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 4+ years of experience in analytical problem-solving skills with ability to synthesize data from multiple sources to drive data-driven decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, strategy, business planning, consulting, marketing, finance, product management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
- 8+ years advertising experience with ad tech, product or product marketing experience
- Familiarity with the digital advertising environment and a clear understanding of the media planning and buying and selling processes
- A proven track record of working across diverse stakeholders to define and execute strategic initiatives with passion, precision, and excellence.
- Ability to navigate, build trust, and influence through hands-on engagement with leadership across business and engineering teams
- Solid business judgement and ability to make decisions leveraging strategic thinking complemented with a bias for action and operational excellence.
- Ability to communicate at an executive level through visual, written, and verbal communication within a global context, technical and non-technical
- Comfort with work independently and effectively as part of a broad fast-moving team, and drive successful outcomes with virtual teams, in an oftentimes ambiguous environment.
Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
