About This Role:
As the Head of AI Platform Architecture, you will be an integral part of the AI Capability Team (AICT) Leadership team and expected to be an expert in Enterprise AI Architecture and platform integration with experience in R&D domain. You will lead the charge in developing a robust and scalable AI architecture, ensuring its alignment with enterprise-wide initiatives to enhance operational efficiencies and maximize the value of AI investments. Your expertise will guide the seamless integration of cutting-edge AI technologies with existing systems, driving innovation and supporting the strategic vision of making our company a trailblazer in digital health neuroscience. With a direct reporting line to the AICT Head, you will manage key goals such as strategic partnership building and continuous enhancement of our AI capabilities, positioning you as a cornerstone of our business's digital transformation. Your contributions will not only influence our long-term strategy but also reinforce our commitment to staying at the forefront of AI technology in our industry.

What You'll Do:

  • Define and lead the strategy for enterprise AI architecture, ensuring it supports our AICT strategy and organizational objectives.
  • Drive execution of complex strategies into an integrated roadmap, allocating resources efficiently and maintaining high coordination for strategy fulfillment.
  • Manage strategic partnerships related to AI architecture, from identification to negotiation.
  • Stay abreast of new developments in AI and enterprise architecture, assessing their impact and utility.
  • Offer expert advice to the leadership team on AI architecture and cross-enterprise integration.
  • Oversee integration of all AI-related projects across the enterprise, optimizing for cost-effectiveness and value.
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels, understanding their needs and leading the development of stakeholder engagement plans.
  • Assess project feasibility, provide strategic recommendations, and prioritize development activities to build a talent pipeline.
  • Communicate the function's strategy and business plan within the team, linking to the broader organizational mission and motivating extraordinary achievements.

Who You Are:

You are a visionary with a background and education in mathematics, statistics, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field. With over a decade of experience in data science, machine learning, or software engineering, you have honed your ability to lead high-performing teams and manage complex projects. Your deep experience in clinical development and regulatory requirements has equipped you with a unique perspective on the real-world evidence ecosystem. You are known for your independent decision-making skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams. As a forward-thinker, you are always exploring new horizons, and your enthusiasm for innovation makes you a natural leader. You are not just an expert in your field; you are a strategic thinker who understands the big picture and the intricate dance of aligning technology with business goals.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in data science, machine learning, or software engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, computer engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven leadership of high-performing technical teams.
  • Expertise in initiating and managing complex interdisciplinary projects, particularly in software and technology for clinical studies.
  • In-depth knowledge of Clinical Development, Clinical Data Management, Regulatory Requirements, and the Real World Evidence ecosystem.
  • Strong technical expertise in AI platform architecture and strategic planning.
  • Proficiency in communication, translating technical concepts for various stakeholders.
  • Continuous improvement and innovation mindset in AI platform architecture.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
  • Expertise in AI-enabling platforms and tools such as cloud computing, Python, and ML Ops technologies.
  • Comprehensive understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, algorithms, and frameworks.
  • Deep knowledge of data architecture, data integration, and data governance.
  • Independent work ethic, initiative taking, and leadership qualities.
  • Awareness of data security best practices and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with leading-edge AI technologies and their application in neuroscience.
  • Experience in fostering innovation within large-scale, complex organizations.


Job Level: Management


Additional Information

The base compensation range for this role is: $204,000.00-$281,000.00


Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.

Regular employees are eligible to receive both short term and long-term incentives, including cash bonus and equity incentive opportunities, designed to reward recent achievements and recognize your future potential based on individual, business unit and company performance.
