Summary:

Location - Woodstock

Shift - 1st shift (7am - 3pm)

Rate - $22.79

The primary responsibility of this position is to perform unskilled maintenance.

Essential Functions:

• Assist M1s and Journeyperson as directed.
• Complete routine PMs such as ladder inspections, overhead door inspections, sprinkler inspections, eyewash and shower inspections and tests, lighting (exits, overhead) inspections, spill cabinets inspections, etc.
• Assist in the upkeep of the stock room by sorting, organizing, and working with vendors.
• Focus effort on safety projects in the maintenance department and other areas plant-wide.
• Operate forklift as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned or directed, inside and outside the facility.
• Detect and report unusual conditions to the appropriate supervisor and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
