The FM Manager of Student Relations is responsible for overseeing the administration, coordination, oversight and evaluation of Family Medicine clerkship, Family Medicine MSE electives, teaching experiences and interest groups.
The Manager of Student Relations plays a critical part in supporting medical student education. They must be able to prioritize work and work independently as well as with a number of other clinical staff and administrative personnel to accomplish goals and responsibilities which are highly deadline driven.
This student-facing role is essential to the smooth delivery of medical student education programming. Strong organization, coordination, and attention to detail are essential to successfully managing the responsibilities of this position. The position requires clear, timely and professional communication—especially in responding to student emails and concerns—to ensure efficient and supportive program operations.
The successful candidate will be approachable, solutions-oriented, and committed to maintaining a high standard of service to students and faculty alike.
In addition to the faculty and staff at Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center, the Manager will work with faculty and staff at neighborhood health centers and other outpatient clinical sites.
The Manager of Student Relations is responsible for adhering to the School of Medicine standard administrative processes and protocols including BlackBoard and MedHub.

- Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience in an educational setting; Master's preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong interpersonal and professional skills; interacts regularly with faculty, staff, and students both on site and at affiliate sites
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments
