The Purpose of your Role

We are seeking a candidate that can use their strong analytical, consultative, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills to create actionable solutions to our internal customers.
As the Manager, you will be a technical data expert who proposes and delivers analytical insights to support all levels throughout the firm. Working in a collaborative, dynamic, creative environment on a team dedicated to driving continuous improvement in Fidelity's resilience decision making. You will get to collaborate with colleagues from various departments, taking on a consulting role that revolves around providing engaging digital solutions with clear benefits.
The Expertise You Bring
A bachelor's or master's degree in a technical, analytical, or finance-related field required
Minimum 5+ years of experience sourcing and synthesizing large, disparate data into relevant, meaningful insights
Skills and background in visualization design and dashboard development (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Domo, etc.) required
Experience working with data in relational databases (e.g., SQL, Snowflake, Alteryx, Python, etc.) required

Proficiency consuming large amounts of data and developing insights; ability to communicate those insights in a simple, clear, and actionable manner through various visual mediums
Inherently good attention to detail
Solid interpersonal and active listening skills with the confidence to engage with executives
Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to clearly articulate complex ideas with various levels of the organization
Collaborative approach, ability to build relationships and strategic partnerships with peers, internal customers, and key collaborators
Ability to mentor, coach, and assist less experienced analysts and other team members
Strong consultative and project management skills, including being able to work on multiple projects at a time and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Process improvement attitude and ability to proactively implement innovative solutions to complex problems
Commitment to developing a balance of technological and non-technological skills to fully support the broad needs of our customers
The Value You Deliver
Serve as a subject matter expert in data and technology tools used to provide support to the Resilience Intelligence Innovation Center, Business Continuity and Vendor resiliency teams as well as internal business partners
Build and deliver impactful yet intuitive digital solutions to business needs
Empower business leaders with data-driven, useful insights to enable objective and informed decisions that directly impact organizational goals
Continuously improve data analytics and insights capabilities for the firm
Ensure proper controls, documentation, and reviews are in place and followed
Participating in the incident response program and recovery activities for business operations, technology or vendor disruptions (on call rotation/including off hours).
Exhibits executive presence. Communicates clearly, concisely and impactfully in order to influence others; tailoring messaging to audience.
Advancing our data analytics strategies by collaborating with partners to understand data visualization needs, developing database queries, and integrating systems.
Analyzing datasets to uncover data issues, trends and insights, and the ability to help find innovative ways to mitigate risk.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications, maintain technical documentation, data accuracy and integrity within systems, and evaluate and improve existing visualization systems.

This role will be a key analytical data expert in the Resiliency Intelligence Innovation Center, providing an evolving suite of services encompassing valuable reporting and analytics using innovative tools and processes to continuously drive improvement in the decision making of the firm.
