Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Boston University Occupational Health Services and in collaboration with the BUOHC Medical Director, the Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner is a self-directed healthcare provider, consultant, and coordinator of care to employees, students, and graduate students of the Boston University School of Dental Medicine. Responsibilities include management of the blood borne pathogen exposure/response plan, overseeing immunization/TB compliance for pre-placement clearance, annual compliance reporting and management of the Workers' Compensation injury program. The Nurse practitioner will be located on the BUMC Medical Campus in the Evans building.

Job Requirements:
- Master of Science degree or higher in nursing from an accredited program.
- Active license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Massachusetts (Adult or Family -Nurse Practitioner) and active license as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
- Active DEA prescribing license obtained in the state of Massachusetts or eligible to obtain DEA license.
- Active Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration (MCSR) or eligible to obtain MCSR.
- Nurse Practitioner experience with a minimum of 2 years Occupational Health or related field. Willing to pursue certification to perform Federal Motor Carrier Driver Examinations (CDL) within one year of hire.
- Strong PC and technology skills including familiarity with case management software, electronic medical records, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Possess excellent communication, organizational, and people skills.
