We are looking for a Product Line Engineering Lead (PLEL) who can coordinate and manage engineering activities across one of CEMA's exciting product lines experiencing tremendous growth, Advanced Compact Electronic Warfare Solutions (ACES) with program teams located in Nashua, New Hampshire and Austin, Texas. The PLEL will be the primary engineering leader for a family of products focusing on program execution, new business growth, product leverage, product evolution, and continuous improvement. The PLEL provides engineering leadership for the product line during all lifecycle phases. The successful candidate reports to the CEMA Business Area Engineering Director.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $169630 - $288370
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

We are looking for a Product Line Engineering Lead (PLEL) who can coordinate and manage engineering activities across one of CEMA's exciting product lines experiencing tremendous growth, Advanced Compact Electronic Warfare Solutions (ACES) with program teams located in Nashua, New Hampshire and Austin, Texas. The PLEL will be the primary engineering leader for a family of products focusing on program execution, new business growth, product leverage, product evolution, and continuous improvement. The PLEL provides engineering leadership for the product line during all lifecycle phases. The successful candidate reports to the CEMA Business Area Engineering Director.
Specific job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Partner with the Product Line Director and staff to develop and deliver products and systems that meet our customer needs.
- Partner and collaborate across all the disciplines, functions, and business areas to effectively support engineering across the enterprise.
- Meet cost, schedule and technical performance for Product Line projects through their life cycle.
- Ensure preparation and approval of competitive engineering bids that are executable, meet established price-to-win targets, and grow the business.
- Serve as overall customer (internal / external) engineering point of contact for the product line.
- In collaboration with the Product Line leadership team, prepare and communicate Product and Technology Roadmaps that sustain and grow the business.
- Identify and support the development of critical skills and resources.
- Develop and maintain measures related to engineering performance.
- Develop and lead continuous improvement activities and ensure adoption within the organization.
- Ensure proper application of process based on the size and complexity of the project.
- Establish goals, performance standards, budgets and staffing plans.
- Improve processes and skills that support programs.
As a leader and supervisor, the PLEL must also:
- Work across organizational boundaries to solve problems and secure resources.
- Recruit, train, develop and retain Program Engineering Managers (PEMs) and teams to meet business needs.
- Perform supervisory duties in alignment with the business.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 16+ years of progressive engineering experience, including technical leadership, strategic planning, and innovation
- Active Secret security clearance and eligible to obtain Top Secret/SCI is required
- 10+ years of engineering management experience with a track record of managing complex organizations, driving growth, and promoting excellence
- Masters or PhD in a relevant field with 14+ years of progressive engineering experience, including technical leadership, strategic planning, and innovation
- Top Secret / SCI clearance
- Recognized expertise in Compact Electronics and Advanced Threats, with a deep understanding of latest technologies and trends
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with 10+ years of experience building relationships with key stakeholders and driving business outcomes.
- Experience transitioning technology into products, with a strong understanding of business aspects (e.g. finance, operations)
- Experience in implementing product development processes, quality standards, and methodologies (e.g. Agile, AS9145, Digital Engineering) to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction
