Role overview

The Senior Director of Tax and Treasury is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of the global tax and treasury function. This individual will lead the development and execution of tax strategy, ensure compliance with domestic and international tax laws and oversee the company's capital structure, liquidity, and financial risk profile. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership to drive financial efficiency and compliance.

What you'll do

  • Lead the global tax function, including planning, compliance, reporting, and audits
  • Oversee tax planning, including incentives, transfer pricing, mergers and acquisitions, and tax-efficient financing
  • Manage the efficient preparation, review and approval of global tax payments, corporate income tax returns and all related filings
  • Oversee the preparation of interim and annual tax provisions under ASC 740 including all financial statement disclosures and compliance with internal controls
  • Lead audits and defend the company's strategy and positions before tax authorities
  • Manage relationships with external tax advisors
  • Proactively monitor and interpret changing tax laws and communicate to executive management the impact on the company
  • Direct global cash management, including forecasting, liquidity planning, and working capital optimization
  • Manage banking relationships and ensure the availability of credit facilities and appropriate financing structures
  • Oversee debt, share buy back and capital market activities; lead financing initiatives as needed
  • Develop and manage investment strategies for excess cash within policy guidelines.
  • Implement and manage foreign exchange and interest rate risk mitigation strategies as needed
  • Ensure compliance with treasury-related internal controls and reporting standards.
  • Strategic advisor on the tax and treasury implications of corporate initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, develop and retain a high-performing team across tax and treasury functions.
  • Partner cross functionally with business teams and collaborate with Accounting, Legal, FP&A, HR and to support alignment corporate initiatives.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA and/or Master's in Taxation preferred
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in tax and treasury functions, including leadership roles
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, US federal and state tax regulations, and international tax laws
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to articulate complex tax and treasury matters to a broad range of stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities
  • Experience in ERP and treasury management systems
  • Exposure to M&A, transfer pricing, and tax controversy
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Hybrid work model with 60% in the office requirement
  • Some limited travel required to domestic and international locations
