We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join the Microsoft Security Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) Community within the Customer Experience Engineering (CxE) Customer Communities & Partner (CC&P) team who has a passion for enhancing the customer experience, fostering a consistent and efficient collaboration between engineers and customers, and enabling a customer-centric development culture. The team’s goal is to bring end-users and engineers together to build products that drive customer and partner success, accelerate usage, and unlock the full potential of our solutions. Our fast-paced environment motivates team members to innovate and be at the forefront of product development, with a customer-first mindset. If you are eager to work directly with our commercial customers, partners, and most valuable professionals (MVPs), and connect them to our engineering product teams to create a better product, then we would love to have you on our team.     Lead and contribute to the Security Customer Connection Program
    Expand and engage our customer community across diverse domains and regions for quality co-development with engineering.
    Work with feature PMs to shape customer engagements across the product lifecycle.
    Develop and improve infrastructure, collateral, and instructional design for optimal outcomes.
    Manage and run the MVP program for Security Community products. Inform and empower the Security Community within and beyond the engineering team. Embody our culture and values

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product management or program management
    • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 7+ years experience in product management or program management
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic skills, with curiosity and bias for action.
  • Growth mindset and customer-development experience.
  • Excellent communication and empathy skills with customers, partners, field, and engineering.
  • Collaboration, cross-teaming, prioritization, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working in Engineering

  • Experience leveraging customer communities to drive feedback and influence

  • Self-starter, who can handle ambiguity and provide innovative solutions.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
