As a Senior Software Engineer at FactSet, you'll be involved in designing, maintaining, and supporting FactSet Entitlements/Authorization, Authentication components, which are key to our business. We adhere to Auth/Authorization RFC standards and other industry protocols to ensure the robustness of our systems. This position will be primarily responsible for maintaining and enhancing core Auth/Authorization components in addition to ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our components and infrastructure. We are seeking a highly motivated Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, and implement Identity and Access Services software applications.

  • Manage LDAP servers for enhancement of system performance and functionalities.

  • Will be involved in production support for deploying code in production environment.

  • Offer troubleshooting and technical support for production-related tasks and inquiries.

  • Provide basic guidance and support to maintain the best practices of Identity and Access Management.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline system enhancements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-6 years of software development experience.

  • A minimum of 3-6 years' experience managing LDAP servers.

  • Experience with Ping Directory, ForgeRock DS.

Critical Skills:

  • 1+ year Ping directory experience

  • 1+ year Forge Rock experience

Additional Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in SAML and OAuth.

  • Experience with Ping Directory, ForgeRock DS.

  • Experience with OPA Experience working in an AWS cloud environment and knowledge of Terraform is a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.

Salary is just one component of our compensation package and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications.

Salary Range Required for certain states

The budgeted salary range for this position in the states of Connecticut and New York is $135,000.00 - 150,000.00
