THE WORK

Responsible for sustainment program support to include setting requirements, identifying and selecting ground support equipment to sustain the lifecycle of the product. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. May serve as the point of contact for logistics with the customer and provide advice or training related to ground support equipment. Functions as the internal design interface between support system, concepts and specifications. Other analysis may include interface studies, timeline and requirements allocation, effectiveness, verification, cost/risk, and supportability of ground support equipment.

Due to our ongoing focus on existing RMS talent and affordability within Sikorsky, only qualified RMS
employees will be considered for this role and
preference will be given to employees directly
supporting the Sikorsky line of business.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner. Experience as a maintainer of helicopters is preferred. An Airframe & Powerplant license will be considered a plus.
Desired Skills:
Support the execution of delivering ground support equipment across the complete line of business of Sikorsky Aircraft. Finding or defining the requirements for ground support equipment that support our products at all levels of maintenance. This includes flight line support, back shop support and providing our customer with organic capability to repair and overhaul the components of aircraft. Encompassing components that are designed and built by ourselves as well as working with our supply base on their components.

Be cognizant of International Trade Compliance
(ITC) policies including interpretation of company
policies and procedures, work instructions, and ITAR regulations in relation to Sikorsky deliverables and government policies for Controlled Unclassified Information
- Support contract proposal initiatives by providing
estimates as required for modifications and/or newly developed aircraft components.
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with customer personnel.
- Provide feedback on all project requirements,
statements of work, budgets and schedules.
- Provide/maintain inputs/status reports to GSE
management and program management
- Maintain effective use of metrics for tracking quality and status of deliverables.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
