The Role

The Vice President for Product Marketing in Stock Plan Services & Nonqual (SPSNQ) will lead a team accountable for development of marketing strategies, and execution of our external go-to-market activities, to drive awareness, adoption and utilization of product features and capabilities.

You will partner closely with product management, sales & client service teams and other marketing leaders and teams across SPSNQ. You will be a member of the SPS Marketing, Communications & Insights leadership team working closely with peers, modeling "one team" culture and operating with a bias toward action and results.

Key areas of focus:

  • Drive development of comprehensive go-to-market strategies, and execution of multi-channel initiatives, for product launches and enhancements

  • Understand market & customer insights and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies and tactics

  • Build compelling product positioning and messaging that effectively communicates the value to target audiences

  • Advance digital-led sponsor education experiences as part of integrated plans

  • Collaborate with peers and partners to align strategies and connect programs with relevant initiatives to maximize resources and impact

  • Lead a team of marketing & education professionals defining deliverables, addressing barriers and providing guidance and support to achieve goals

  • Define & track measures of effectiveness of product marketing initiatives

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • 10+ years' experience in go-to-market planning, marketing and product positioning & messaging

  • You are an experienced people leader, skilled at setting strategic direction, translating into proposed initiatives and leading seamless execution

  • You are comfortable navigating complex organizations - interacting with cross functional teams that span across multiple business units.

  • You possess strong strategic acumen with a customer focused perspective

  • You communicate clearly and are comfortable engaging at all levels of management.

  • You can lead, influence, and motivate colleagues and peers without formal authority.

  • You are intellectually curious and model a culture of learning and coaching.

  • Knowledge of the financial services industry & Series 7 preferred
