What You'll Do

You play a key role in delivering exceptional service to staff and guests, ensuring a welcoming and seamless office experience. You are a vital member of the Office Experience team, responsible for maintaining high standards across all staff and visitor touchpoints. You'll also support team members during busy periods-particularly for internal/external events and training sessions, as well as assist with general office operations as needed.

You're good at

  • Warmly welcoming and assisting staff and guests with a proactive, service-first mindset
  • Creating a high standard of hospitality by guiding colleagues and visitors throughout their experience
  • Partnering with reception to manage and track shared space reservations
  • Serving as a go-to resource for staff and guests, offering support as needed
  • Advising on available meeting and workspaces
  • Offering helpful directions and tips about the office and nearby amenities
  • Delivering concierge-style support, including coordinating catering and other services

Maintaining overall appearance of the office:

  • Regularly inspecting conference rooms, communal areas, offices, and workstations to ensure cleanliness, tidiness, and fully stocked supplies
  • Ensuring all spaces meet high standards of presentation throughout the day
  • Overseeing housekeeping in both individual and shared areas
  • Checking printers to ensure they are clean, organized, and free of uncollected confidential materials
  • Monitoring IT equipment in offices and meeting rooms, and promptly reporting any issues

Facilities support, office maintenance and repairs:

  • Serve as the point of contact during office repairs, coordinating with the Office Experience team, building management, and vendors
  • Report and help resolve office or space-related issues
  • Maintain basic printer functionality-replace toner and paper, troubleshoot issues, and call for repairs as needed
  • Prepare office spaces and lockers for new hires
  • Coordinate furniture moves for staff transitions or relocations

Catering coordination:

  • Order and set up catering for meetings and office events
  • Track catering budgets and process related invoices
  • Research and build relationships with local catering vendors

Office supplies:

  • Manage supply orders and ensure shared workspaces remain stocked and organized

Mail coordination:

  • Maintain mailroom supplies and coordinate daily mail and package deliveries
  • Oversee FedEx, UPS, and courier services; reorder supplies as needed
  • Support internal printing and binding requests

Kitchen coordination:

  • Keep office kitchens clean, well-stocked, and organized throughout the day
  • Restock food, drinks, and kitchen supplies proactively
  • Handle heavy lifting (e.g., beverage cases) and use a step ladder when needed
  • Ensure kitchen equipment is maintained and waste is properly disposed of

Conference room coordination:

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and supply levels in all meeting rooms
  • Work with meeting organizers and the Office Experience team to arrange catering, furniture setup, IT, and other meeting needs
  • Possess strong working knowledge of meeting room technology to support and troubleshoot basic IT issues

Teaming:

  • Provide daily Concierge coverage during lunch breaks, and cover for reception during vacations or breaks
  • Offer backup support for the Office Experience team during high-volume days or staff absences
  • Maintain records of receipts and invoices for Amex/Meeting card reconciliation


What You'll Bring

  • 1-2 years in an office environment or equivalent work experience
  • Catering experience preferred
  • Ability to work well/collaborate with others
  • Ability to lift and deliver large packages
  • Ability to work within a budget
  • Flexibility to work overtime
  • Computer literacy required with strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, Slack


Who You'll Work With

Our business management and operations team members work to ensure that BCG is running smoothly, efficiently, and productively. We are made up of executive and administrative (or case team) assistants, visual service artists, receptionists, facilities staff, and the team leaders and office coordinators who manage these operations and business management jobs.

In the US, we have a compensation transparency approach.

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, retirement contribution, and a market leading benefits package described below.

  • The base salary range for this role in Boston is $55,000.00 - $67,000.00

This is an estimated range, however, specific base salaries within the range depend on various factors such as experience and skill set. It is not common for new BCG employees to be hired at the high-end of the salary range. BCG regularly reviews its ranges to ensure market competitiveness.

In addition to your base salary, your total compensation will include a bonus of up to 12% and a generous retirement contribution that starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years.

  • Zero dollar ($0) health insurance premiums for BCG employees, spouses, and children

  • Low $10 (USD) copays for trips to the doctor, urgent care visits and prescriptions for generic drugs

  • Dental coverage, including up to $5,000 in orthodontia benefits

  • Fully vested Profit Sharing Retirement Fund contributions made annually, whether you contribute or not, plus the option for employees to make personal contributions to a 401(k) plan

  • Paid Parental Leave and other family benefits such as elective egg freezing, surrogacy, and adoption reimbursement

  • Generous paid time off including 12 holidays per year, an annual office closure between Christmas and New Years, and 15 vacation days per year (earned at 1.25 days per month)

  • Paid sick time on an as needed basis
