The Role
Come join us as a new member of SCO AXP where you will be assigned to provide engineering support to one of the squads in the SCO product area. Although each team has its own goals and responsibilities, our chapter strongly emphasizes collaboration and personifies Fidelity's leadership principle of thinking and working across the firm. The applications we support work together to deliver a flawless experience and drive business success. To promote consistency and continuity for our clients, there are many integration points and shared components between these applications. Understanding each product and how they fit together in the big picture is essential, as you may often work at these points of intersection.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- CS curriculum as well as 6 plus years of application developing Web applications
- Proficiency with Angular 8+/ React, Typescript, Core JavaScript, HTML 5, and CSS
- Built robust front-end experiences and user-centered products, services, and platforms at scale
- Specialist understanding and experience with the full UI development process including planning, analysis, design, coding, user testing, problem debugging and resolution
- Experience of consuming and crafting RESTful APIs, and good knowledge of standard methodologies in API design
- Experience or certification in Cloud-based (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) architectures is nice to have
- Good understanding of automation (testing, continuous integration/deployment)
- Dedication to high quality, balanced with rapid pace of delivery - delivering technology changes to end users every two weeks, and as frequent as daily
- Experience delivering resilient and high-quality software systems
- You own the outcome by taking personal accountability for delivering strong results
- Excellent collaboration skills to work with multiple teams in the organization distributed across geographic locations
The Team
Our chapter area supports the Scale and Channel Optimization product area, whose mission is to drive scale and efficiency across the interactions between Wealth Management Teams and their clients by optimizing opportunities, driving digital appointments and digitizing client plan implementation. The applications in our product suite support both customers and advisors to improve communication, streamline processes, uncover opportunities, deepen relationships, and ultimately drive business growth by ensuring that every interaction is meaningful and productive.
