Job Description:
We're partnering with a national nonprofit that's reimagining how middle and high school students explore careers and plan for their futures. They're looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support their Marketing team during a critical 5-month engagement. This will be covering a parental leave so the role is likely not to extend.
In this position, you'll serve as the central point of contact for all new marketing project requests-managing intake, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables. Projects will include social media, web graphics, motion pieces, digital banners, email campaigns - primarily digital, very limited print.
What You'll Do:
- Own the marketing project intake process, ensuring clarity around goals, requirements, deliverables, and timelines.
- Lead project kickoff meetings and weekly stand-ups to track progress and adjust priorities.
- Oversee project management tools (Jira, Asana), train staff, and implement process improvements.
- Monitor team bandwidth and collaborate with creative leadership to assign resources effectively.
- Act as the liaison between project owners and the creative team to ensure expectations are met and quality standards upheld.
What We're Looking For:
- Hands-on experience with Jira and Asana-you know how to use these tools to drive efficiency.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A collaborative, proactive mindset with the ability to work independently.
- A passion for mission-driven work, especially around youth empowerment and education.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
