Job Description:

Position: PC Refresh Technician

Location: Onsite; Smithfield, RI

Duration: Long term contract

Pay Rate: $20-23/hr based on experience

Refresh Tech

Daily Machine Refresh:

• Refresh up to six machines per day, adhering to the scheduled date and time for each user.
• Contact the assigned user and perform a backup of data, settings, and software.
• Image, configure and restore the replacement machine by mirroring the original system.

Shipping & Logistics:

• Ship equipment via UPS, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation.

• Maintain detailed records of all shipped and received equipment.

Asset Management:

• Update hardware asset status in real-time by:

o Assigning machines to users, or

o Returning machines to stock inventory.

• Ensure all asset movements are properly logged.

Documentation & Systems:

• Record all actions and updates in QuickBase and ServiceNow.

• Maintain clear and accurate notes for each refresh process.

Technical Support:

• Provide basic desktop support assistance for any issues that arise during the refresh process and up to three days post-refresh under the warranty window.

Skills & Attributes:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.

• Capable of working independently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and service.
