




Social Media Specialist - Remote & Part Time
Location: Remote
Hours: 15-18 hours/week (Ongoing Contract)
Schedule: Flexible hours; there will be short meetings throughout the business week but work can be done on your own time as long as deadlines are met (that means if you're in a full-time role looking for a side gig, this could be great!)
Rate Range: $28-$30 per hour
Client: Hospitality Industry
Overview:
Our client in the hospitality industry is seeking a part-time Social Media Specialist to support their Marketing team across a portfolio of hotel brands. This fully remote role will report to the Sr. Director of Social Media & Content and focus on content creation, scheduling, and light community management. This will be a tactical position focused on execution rather than strategy. Any experience you may have with light content creation (video editing or Canva design) would be excellent, but not required as they have an internal design team who can take this on.
Responsibilities:
- Draft monthly social copy
- Develop monthly content calendars and write engaging social copy for their social channels, Instagram and Facebook
- Source and curate imagery, video, and UGC that aligns with brand guidelines
- Schedule and publish content using Sprout Social
- Monitor and manage community engagement across assigned brand channels
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in social media content creation, ideally in hospitality or agency settings
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Portfolio showcasing successful posts across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
- Experience with Canva and basic video editing is a plus
- Familiarity with Sprout Social or similar scheduling tools preferred
